Janelle Bailey was born and raised in Kansas City. She obtained her high school diploma from St. Teresa’s Academy, received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Physics from Illinois Wesleyan University, and her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. During law school she and her team received first place in the regional negotiation competition and placed within the top 16 of the national negotiation competition. She served as an intern at the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office, worked at the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant prosecutor, and worked at large Kansas City area law firms before leaving to start her own firm in order to help people.
